The models have shown one for a while but it keeps pushing it back every time it doesn't happen.
One time they'll be right and it'll get cold.

Some of you people still think we have 4 seasons. That's cute. LOL
It's a hot season, and a cold rainy season.
Autumn and Spring are gone.

This is why you have three houses and one of those houses is in the mountains.

I know several people over the past few years that have moved to eastern Tennessee/North Carolina, not for better jobs or schools, they moved for better weather.

Usually about Thxgiving, give or take a few days.
Remember I've lived in Tulsa and CO, KS, and TN. Did many a trip down to spend the holiday with family here in La. Talking like 25+ years worth of Thxgivings traveling from North to South. At least half were either on the 1st ice/snow or just before/after of the Fall/Winter.
Most of the time those major cold fronts were the break point for La. between Summer/Fall weather. La. has always had about 300 days of Summer, 1 day each of Fall/Spring, and maybe 60 days of Winter. (The other 3 days are hurricanes

I have noticed it being far less humid lately. My back porch isn't wet when I sit out there in the late afternoon.

Used to be by the first day of fall we had a few cooler days/nights.
Not that way any longer.
