Weather - realistically, how far can you look ahead in the week(s) for accuracy?

This board appears to have a few weather gurus that post quality information during storms.
For a generic question, how far can one look ahead in the coming days and/or weeks for an accurate report?
For example, looking at tomorrow's weather, it calls for partly cloud with a high of 80 and low 63. That, I assume, is probably 95%+ accurate.
Tuesday calls for thunderstorms with 70% precipitation and a high of 78 and low of 63. That's a little ways out, and the showers could potentially scatter. I assume that is 65% accurate.
Looking at December 21, the weather calls for 40% chance of precipitation, with a high of 60 and low 0f 46. I assume that's probably 15% accurate.
So, how far can one realistically look ahead for a "reasonable prediction", and by reasonable, I mean hot, cold, snow, heavy rain, severe winds, etc. 4-5 days?

If I’m in San Diego, the forecast is reliable
If I’m in Miami, not so much

Anything more than 12 hours is a guess.

My guess would be that on a general level, pretty well in advance with reasonable accuracy. As in, mid week next week looks like a cooling trend. Or going to be in a wetter pattern about 4-5 days out.
I've always though it was pretty ridiculous when people are mad that the weatherman said it would rain tomorrow but instead it was just overcast all day and barely rained at all. Or more apt to the OT, we were told there would be severe storms or tornados but none of the cells went right over my house so it stayed partly sunny all afternoon.

i cap it at 3 days max, beyond that its always turns out to be forecasted wrong, because weather isnt predictable that far out

Depends on where you live
For example, if you live in Lafayette the forecast in the morning could say clear, sunny day, and then all of a sudden a rainstorm forms over Lake Martin and now downtown is flooding.

Not sure
But I CAN tell you without a doubt that Christmas Day in south Louisiana will be around 80-85 degrees, muggy, and have some rain to go with it
