You know what is allowing the people who want all these statues to come down, win? It automatically because a race issue. You have all these neo-nazi lunatics that show up and protest against those who want them to come down and they get the attention, so then if you support these statues not coming down then you are lumped in with neo-nazis.
A strategic way to protest against people who want Andrew Jackson statues (or anyone just because they owned slaves) is for people to show up with American flags only. And people wear t-shirts that show "diversity". Tupac, Bob Marley, just anything that is not associated with anything that could fit into a certain stereotype. If you don't like Tupac.. That's not the point, the point is so that when the media is filming the protest and people are taking pictures, they don't just see people they can perceive as stupid rednecks. Send a message "look, you can support this and be a racist". That would take away some of their "power" because screaming racism is their power.

No doubt. It aligns with typical liberal thinking. Minorities aren't smart enough to take care of themselves, so the white liberal needs to take care of them.
