You can't buy oil with THC in it in Louisiana IIRC.

I hope for the best and please come back and post an in-depth update. A parent of mine has indescribable deformation RA and I want to try oils with her.

Just don't take tons of antioxidants if getting radiation, which many cancer patients will (especially in the palliative stage). Radiation causes damage to DNA mainly through oxygen radicals which could possibly be disrupted by antioxidants. Never been proven or studied extensively but a gamble. Can resume once radiation is done.

Did it originate in the prostate? If so, was the robot surgery an option?
I ask this since my dad had prostate cancer, had the surgery but then had colon cancer that eventually went to the liver and bones

I strongly recommend anyone who has cancer, wants to prevent cancer, or help someone with cancer to do whatever you can to take the following supplements. Cancer is a cellular problem and can be defeated by cellular strengthening supplements.
1. Fish oils (make sure container says purified)
2. Vitamin D3 (5000 iu's day)
3. Vitamin E -- hard to say how much, there's a lot of misinformation created by big pharma trying to protect their profits. Must take with Fish oils or similar oils for proper absorption. 1000 IU's day is safe but may not be enough. Probably needs to be a mega dose.
4. Selenium
5. Curcumin.
Avoid Iron. Reduce or eliminate processed sugar.

If they are checking PSA levels, then it's a primary prostate cancer.
It sounds like your dad had a second cancer unrelated from the first.
Cancer sucks.

Sorry to hear about your dad stout. You and your family have my sympathy and a prayer for you all to be a peace knowing he isn't hurting any more.
Mine will be 86 on the 27th of this month. I know having him around this long is a blessing, but it will still be tough when is gone.

Until the marijuana industry can pay more to senators, representatives and other political systems as the prescription drug companies do, marijuana will continue to be public enemy number one regardless of its numerous benefits.

Prayers for your father and will be very interested to see his results. I am planning a trip to Co soon to invest in some vaping oil for a friends with a seizure disorder. I have lost a few friends to seizures and am sick and tired of the BS that keeps them from getting help from medical MJ.

Maybe not those specific cancers, but there is definitely evidence of weed reversing the growth of certain kinds of tumors (shrinking them).

I know you posted this with a 'gotcha' in mind, but even the most diehard potheads know is doesn't cure anything
will definitely help him get by day to day though
ETA - to the OP, hope everything work so out for your father
