It was kind of punishing, that's for sure. How it worked was every half mile the trailer would lock a wheel for just over a second with some water spaying right in front of it and the transducer would convert the force into a friction value. I had mixed feelings about the job really, it was pretty maddening because of all the driving, especially in areas where there wasn't a damn thing to look at but soybeans, cotton and peanuts but I had the most freedom to do it how I wished I ever had in my life.

This is my nomination. The speed limit is only like 70 during this stretch and there's nothing there. I got a ticket driving 10mph over in this zone. Nicest cop I ever dealt with though. Once you get into Colorado the speed limit increases, making me think Kansas side is just intended to be a speed trap.
