There has to be a way you can pass the annuity down to your kids in case of death. That’s what I would I do at this point with 2 billion on the line.
Yup, a living trust would be the first thing you establish even before claiming the prize.

I’m starting to wonder if the computers are rigging it at this point I.e they know all combinations purchased and are selecting the ones not used until all combos are purchased. These big jackpots lead to a lot more tickets being bought thus more $$$$$
It just seems too unlikely at this point that nobody wins
This is pretty stupid for a lot of reasons.

Looks like the Powerball website is frozen. No updates.

Ok so if the cash value is $929 million and to buy all the combinations it would be 292 million x $2 which comes to $584 million spent…if the taxes worked out and nobody else won…that math might start to become interesting for someone rich to capitalize on an investment.

Incredibly risky, just not worth it.

That is a terrible, terrible "investment."

I thought about this too the other day with Elon Musk type money.

It has been done before, but nowhere to this scale. I don't recall if they actually ended up ahead but why do it if not.
It was an old 60 Minutes episode or something like that.

Is this amount a record?
Yes, the current Powerball jackpot is the largest ever (of both Powerball and Mega Millions).

Dont forget to buy a ticket today

I think it was in Australia. I saw it also.
There's far to many numbers now to do that I would think. The PB use to only go up to 59, now it goes to 69.

The issue is the time it would take to print all the combos. If there are 292 million number combos and you can print 10 combos per ticket you need 29 million tickets. At 1 second per ticket (likely more) you need 29 million non stop printing seconds. There are 31'ish million seconds in a year...

If you used one computer to print off all the combos it would take 45 years.
Saw it in an article I read. But cant verify.
