I don't remember exactly but if the voting is extended, there is one or two days they will not vote and go into prayer. If by the 13th day they can do a runoff, but 2/3rds still needed. I heard someone speak on the Papal conclave and this is what I remember from it.

Thought I seen somewhere the longest was like 1000 something days and 2 priest died durning that time. Maybe it was something else but I just seen it on news. Think was centuries ago though.
