We’re not.

mean it's out, but have we even given it to the old folks yet? I think once the old fricks and the immunocompromised are vaccinated, this argument will spread to most people
That’s not what the CDC recommends.
They recommend we give it to black and brown front line workers first.

Oh I see the new dem taking point is released in this thread.
"What's different? Nothing is different than before except some minor inconveniences, just live with it."
frick all of you scumbags. I can't imagine being a useful idiot for government. Can't be anything worse than defending government on the internet all the time.

You’re obviously not familiar with history on how totalitarian governments are eventually formed and never cede back power to the people. We’re living through history right now but most people just don’t get it.

Unfortunately, this won't work. There are way too many healthy people out there who are convinced that this virus is the plague and that they are at severe risk if they leave their homes. The media has convinced them to not see the truth. There will always be one large side of people calling for more lockdowns because many people in this country are complete idiots who don't know how to think for themselves.

Why would anyone want to end this 10 month paid vacation for government workers?
Most of them probably worked from home.

This is one of the most stupid takes ever. Vaccines don’t slow down viruses, vaccinations do. And we have vaccinated about 1% of our population. When we get to 30% you can expect to see relaxation of lockdowns. At 60% you can expect a return to full normalcy, except in the nuttier cities.

Fauci disagrees with you

“Let’s say we get 75 percent, 80 percent of the population vaccinated,” Fauci said. “If we do that, if we do it efficiently enough over the second quarter of 2021, by the time we get to the end of the summer, i.e., the third quarter, we may actually have enough herd immunity protecting our society that as we get to the end of 2021, we can approach very much some degree of normality that is close to where we were before.”

Lord knows what, and for how long, theyll blame Trump into 2021 and beyond

Uh, it would have been nice to hit a few restaurants during the holidays or get lunch and a beer with some coworkers. Cooking and takeout is getting old.
I would have killed just to attend a horrible Lions game, too.
