Some places have shitty drinking water. We don't here, but we keep some in the outside fridge. We might go through a case every few months.

When I was a kid we took a vacation trip through Florida to visit old friends and see some places that were too difficult for a really young family but fine for older ones.

We stayed 3 nights in a small town in central Florida that had sulphuric water as the public supply. Every toilet, shower, spigot was strongly sulphuric such that trying to bathe was disappointing, no clean smell.

Needless to say the town was on a “one and done” list.

P.S.
It’s not an enjoyable horseback ride to gallop through a citrus grove. Running into the fruit can knock you out of the saddle at more than a trot.

Because it has a ph of about 5 so it taste is off to me. I prefer a water with a ph over 8. It tastes "cleaner" to me.

Somehow Fiji water just tastes better than the others to me for some reason. I can't explain it.

I buy 10 cases of Desani at a time when I can find it. I do prefer the old bottle and cap though.

Bottled water has to be the biggest scam in human history. Imagine paying for something that is free.

I live in Baton Rouge and the water is great. I also have refillable bottles/yeti cups so I don’t waste plastic.

Dasani is bottled tap water from the Dallas municipal water supply.

It comes from where ever the nearest Coca-Cola bottler gets its water from. They use a reverse osmosis filtration and add some minerals to give it taste and preservatives to give it a shelf life.

As is many bottled water brands.

And none of them are just bottling straight tap water. They use various processes to filtrate the water.

I just drink tap water 99% of the time and only get bottled if I'm out and about and need to. Unless you live in Flint I'll never understand people who buy cases of bottled waters and drink them at the house when there's a plentiful supply of water right there

Dasani has the highest acidity of any bottled water. So it's bad for your teeth compared to the other brands out there. It's pH level is sub 5, which will erode your tooth enamel.

I was once standing on a glacier in Alaska. There was a little stream of freshly melted glacier water running down. I dipped my cupped hands in the very cold stream and drank. It was the best water I’ve ever had in my life. I would go so far as to say the water was delicious.

Bottle water is the biggest scam there is. I remember when I was a kid there wasn't any kind of bottled water. If ya got thirsty you were told to drink out of the faucet.
I get having a filter system like a brita etc. And I buy Bottle water, but what a scam.

not sure why anyone would hate clean, bottled water.

As a kid we drank from the garden hose.

Winn Dixie manufactures its water in 2 locations. One was fine, the other location was “off.” Per a friend who mentioned it. I think it was the one made in Florida was ok. He always checked the package to see which one bf buying if he was buying that brand.

We drink sparkling water and keep a crate at the house. 1 crate lasts us 2 weeks and the plastic bottles are paid for when you purchase the crate. You get the money for the bottles back when you return the empty crate. Regular water is from our tap.
