Filled up at a Shell station today. A few miles down the road, the car died. Couldn’t figure it out. So I called the station and had just learned there was water in their gas. I had my car towed to a dealership. Anyone know what kind of damage could have been done. This is a 6 month old civic.

I was serious about adding alcohol. Probably what the dealership will do.

Well what happened? did the car die? or did you just call to see if there was water in the gas? You really didn't explain what happened.

Didn’t someone post a similar story on here about the Racetrack in Denham a while back?

Water does not mix with gas, there was no water in the gas. You learned nothing. There might have been water, and gas in the tank... but no water in the gas.

Just keep all repair bills and contact the gas station with your problem. Trust me, they will reimburse you. The bad publicity would kill a gas station.
