Yea

I also have a father who bled to death after busting his head open with a BAC 3x the legal limit.

Anything else you want to judge my family about?

the Jennings PD website hasnt been updated since August 2017

JPD Website

I always figured there were cops involved just from the way the Leonard Crochet shooting was handled. The girls were loose ends from the coverup on the officer involved shooting.

Jennings is one of those towns that has a "police are suspected of stealing evidence" story once every 3 years or so

This one was YUGE (and rumored to be linked to the JD8)

Calm down Nancy, it was a simple question not judgment.

Addicts will always find ways to get money to feed their habit. They will steal it, etc, etc. But as crazy as this sounds, there are addicts who will only do things to feed their habit that they wouldn't do for anything else.

why do you feel the need to explain things to people? I think we should call this Chrisplainin'

The killer is/was most likely a drifter who traveled along I-10.

My money is on this guy.

Little's life of crime spanned decades, according to FBI officials. After dropping out of high school in Ohio, Little "lived a nomadic life" and was first arrested in 1956, according to the FBI. He displayed a "dark, violent streak" in his many crimes, which included shoplifting, fraud, drug charges, solicitation and breaking and entering, FBI officials said.

FBI officials said the challenge in connecting the dots is partly due to the fact that Little moved around frequently and often preyed on vulnerable women, some of whom were believed to be involved in the sex trade or addicted to drugs.

Little, who was once a competitive boxer, often knocked out his victims and then strangled them, sometimes leaving no clear signs of a homicide, according to the FBI. Many of their deaths were attributed to natural causes, overdoses or accidents, officials said.

Little was arrested on September 5, 2012, at a homeless shelter in Louisville, Kentucky, after authorities used DNA testing to establish that he was involved in the murder of Carol Elford, killed on July 13, 1987; Guadalupe Apodaca, killed on September 3, 1987; and Audrey Nelson, killed on August 14, 1989.

The Jeff Davis 8, sometimes called the Jennings 8, refers to a series of unsolved murders in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana.[1][2] Between 2005 and 2009, the bodies of eight women, all of whom had an involvement with drugs or prostitution, were found in swamps and canals surrounding Jennings, Louisiana.[2] Most of the bodies were found in such a state of decomposition as to make the actual cause of death difficult to determine.

A convicted serial killer who has confessed to 90 murders and was known for sketching portraits of his victims may be linked to even more unsolved killings in Louisiana, according to the police chief of a town where two of the slayings took place.

He wasn't high. But would be justified if so, you're correct it is Jennings, after all.

DA is a straight guy, I'm related by marriage.

I've said it before but I'll say it again; I think maybe 2 or 3 could be connected but the others are all just similar circumstances and look related because of Podunk police work and an uneducated coroner. Ladies definitely didn't deserve to die in that manner either way.

I didn’t expect the white kids to be sounding like and acting like hood rat dindus. Good God what a horrible shite hole that place is. You could fire bomb the whole “other side of the tracks” and literally lose nothing.

I can understand sounding like illiterate coonasses. I can’t understand illiterate coonasses talking like and behaving like they were born and raised in Compton or NOLA East. Trashiest mitherfrickers I’ve ever seen- even by Louisiana standards. And I’ve lived here my whole life.

I was really curious about this, having not spent a lot of time in the state. While watching, I was wondering if this was some Cajun accent or some hood rat accent.

I have the book, but haven't read as of yet. From what I gather the book makes a very strong case of Jennings PD being involved. If that is the case then I am somewhat disappointed in the ID show. It seemed to me they glossed over police involvement and tried to make it seem it was Frankie on his own.

They didn't even mention the hotel being owned by a state senator who was a john to the prostitutes or that the girls were even prostitutes. The possibility of police corruption and them confiscating drugs on the I-10 corridor for Frankie to sell seems like a very important piece being omitted. No mention of the girls being police informants either. Poorly done documentary imo.

No way this was done by a drifter. Whoever posted that is either very unfamiliar with the story or has some connection to Jennings PD.
