List all the dudes they released that killed 50 women.
We'll wait.

In a narrow 5-4 vote,
Clown world. They deserve more decapitated bodies if they allowed this to happen.
frick it, prisons are obsolete. Just let everyone go. This sounds like the premise of a bad action movie where all the criminals are free and charles bronson has to track them all down.
whoever said the virus quarantine would lead to the Purge was spot on.

A serial killer...in a 5-4 vote?
Read your post again and actually contemplate what you are attempting to minimize.

Gary Ridgeway was never going to be released from prison.
The ruling in question was in response to a petition filed on behalf of 5 inmates, all non-violent offenders not serial killers LOL, and applied directly to those 5 inmates only. The state argued that ~12,000 other inmates fit a similar health profile as those 5. The freaking Green River Killer was never going to be released.

From your first link...
I'm not saying that he would have been, but...
the parameters put forth by the petitioners WOULD HAVE included him.

So what is Prosecutor Haskell's take? Does he think Ridgway and Robert Yates ever had a shot at freedom?
"Based on what I read by the Attorney General, I would say there would have been special restrictions to ensure that didn't happen, but the court never specifically addressed those so that would remain to be seen down the road," he said. "I think you can say anything can happen."

I find it hilarious people think it's ok to release prisoners and give them their freedoms back to stop the spread of disease but law abiding citizens need to be locked up in their house and not be allowed to do anything in life.
You, sir, can go frick yourself.

I don't understand the release of prisoners over this. It's counterintuitive.

Project, it's 2020. Prostitutes is the preferred nomenclature.

Even if the vote had been 4-5, it would not have released the prisoners.
So basically just keep looking in to it and get back to us.
Sometimes it helps to look in to the story more than the headline, but this isn't the first "fake news" story you've posted.

While not suggesting a wholesale release of additional inmates, the dissent said the court could have continued to monitor the situation in prisons and required the state to report back in two weeks.
