Football in an earthquake.

I still played it for dozens of hours.

I think the score was 7-0.

Just once…unless you count the dozens of fumbles.

Aquafresh

Was’t that the toothpaste that came in a hard plastic tube with 3 colors and the commercial had a nice three layer output of paste that could never be matched at home.

Stretch Armstrong was boring to play with after 5 min. SST Evel Knievel didn’t go past 5 feet bf falling over. That styrofoam glider plane wing’s would fall off when you threw it.

As a fellow child of the 1970s, I too was disappointed by all of these in my childhood. My Evel Knievel ended up on the roof on the backside of the house when I came up with the bright idea of making him jump over the house by throwing him over it. It never occurred to me that a six year old doesn’t have nearly the strength required to actually throw a toy motorcycle and rider over a house.

Momma was pissed when she finally saw it up there a few months later.

My Stretch Armstrong lasted about a day and then began leaking a red jelly like substance from its neck. Sat on a bookshelf for years after that.

I still have one similar to that one as well.

Another goody was the one below. An offensive play was on one side of the disk and then your opponent got to pick from 7 or 8 defenses on the reverse side.
