re: Was I in the wrong to take out my frustrations at an old lady over a parking spot?

She has a handicapped tag on her car. What pisses me off is there are handicapped parking spaces available and she is not using them. So I ended up parking near the back. I get out and jog toward the store. She was still getting out of the car and I let her know in a stern voice that it's wrong for her to be parking in a regular spot instead of handicapped and to have more courtesy for others.
My MIL has mobility issues so both her car and my FIL car have the handicap hang tag. However, my FIL is as healthy as can be for a near 70 year old. Whenever he drives the car without her, he never uses a handicap space, because he doesn't need it, and he feels that it would be wrong of him to take the space he doesn't need.
Maybe this is the case here. Maybe she's actually being a great person.

This is obviously trolling, but I park in non handicap spots because they evidently give a handicap tag to everyone these days and people park in the blue hash marks that is for people to put down their ramp..
So I park towards the back where I know no one will park because people are lazy. Plus, I rather avoid having to come out of wherever I am only to have a car parked in the blue hash marks that results in me mouthing off to an old man and a "trying to be cocky" security guard.
But if you ever tell me something I am going to tell you to go frick yourself and if I come out of the store or where ever and I see your vehicle and I am still pissed about it, I am doing something to it. Or like I did once, I will call 911, tell them I saw the person in a vehicle (describe yours and give the license plate #) in the parking lot we are, beating a woman who appeared to be your wife or girlfriend. And that you walked in the store and the woman, who appeared to be hurt, walked off in the opposite direction.

This weekend I was running late. I had to rush into the grocery store to grab a few items for a cookout. I typically don't mind parking near the back and walking. I can burn calories and avoid people dinging up my car. But on this particular Saturday I needed to get in and out of the store fast.
I see a spot open near the front. Another car beat me to it. As I drive by it's an old lady that parks there.
Did I do the right thing? How would you feel?
1. No you did not do the right thing.
2. They would not call you Big Bubba if you parked further away from the door more often.

aybe the handicap placard is for someone else (like her husband) and she doesn't feel right about using it because the placard wasn't issued to her.
This is true, HC tag is issued to the person not the car

No.

Glad that I could find a parking space at the back of the lot and jog to the front while she was still getting out of her car.
I used to drive my mom's car and she had a handicapped tag. I NEVER parked in those spots if she wasn't with me. Maybe she felt like she didn't need the spot and someone who couldn't walk on his/her own needed it more.

You procrastinated, got aggravated and took it out on and old lady! I have handicap and head of the line privileges across the board but don’t use them unless im in pain or crunched for time. Ole gal was probably thinking like me and didn’t want her shite dinged by carts, buggies or other disabled drivers. And she obviously didn’t mind the cardio so why not appreciate that? I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t have even made eye contact if it were a male. More so, one your age.
