You can bet your sweet arse if I came to the OT for help in finding something of mine that was stolen that piece of shite would be arrested, and I'd post it all over the damn forum. What a pussy move not to press charges.

Ole boy will probably be out tailgating for the Alabama game and find some things to steal.

Not to mention, he is going to learn from this and will be harder to catch next time.

I'd be willing to bet the cops and the perp convinced the OP not to press charges since he got all his stuff back. Might have even had something to do with the fact that he farmed out the detective work to the OT. I've seen it happen before in similar circumstances. When it comes to property crimes, the cops don't mind chalking it up to "alls well that ends well" if it's less work for them. I was in the original thread the night it happened and everybody there was amazing in how fast they tracked the guy down and everything. But the cops don't like help from outsiders and in a lot of cases it hurts more than helps because it makes it harder to prosecute.

Yeah well frick that. And frick a thief! When there are no consequences, then there's no reason for the thief to ever stop being a thief.

I had my bike stolen from under my carport the day before Hurricane Ida hit. I knew the cops wouldn't give a shite about it. I joined facebook for the first time in my life so i could scour the marketplace looking for the idiot trying to sell it, same with criagslist. Never found it though. I was really looking forward to "buying" my bike back from the piece of shite. I'd like to think a tree fell on the piece of shits house and he was too busy dealing with that to sell my stolen bike.

That night Fr33 and Bubba were texting each other. Fr33 was screenshotting the texts and posting them in the thread. It wasn't too long after that the thread got whacked.

Not this dude, though...he gets his shite back, barely shows any appreciation, doesn't press charges, and is still trying not to mention specifics of the case.

1) we honestly don’t know if charges were placed. That’s all based on the DA for processing.

I’ve seen it take months before.

2) he was explicitly told by cops to stop talking about the case, and said so. It’s part of why the other thread was whacked.

It’s hilarious to me that no one knows literally anything, so people are running around making things up, and taking it as truth to the point that someone else says the whole thing is “fishy”

You fricking candy arse. Got your shite back because of the folks on here and not pressing charges are ensuring this dipshit is prosecuted.

Wouldn't LSU be the arresting agency, since the crime took place on campus?

So it’s OK to steal a trailer and sell the goods in it but not to cyber bully the turd who did it? Sticks and stones false equivalency.

It must be nice to live in the world of children.

All I commented on was the likely reasons why the initial thread got whacked. It did get whacked. It was whacked because the thread was focusing on an identified person, doxxed, with his address, name, phone number and photos posted. People were going by and spray painting on his curb. The dude deserved it, but it was getting real world serious.

Chicken obviously lives in the world of adults. At a certain point, the ire of an entire community was being focused on this guy through this website. The dude deserved to be in a cage as a thief. But in the world of adults, there are potential consequences for being the meeting ground and facilitator of vigilante justice.

I have never taken up for or defended the thief. But I understand the world of adults and the potential for liability, and I understand why the original thread was whacked.

So go back to playing in your parents' room if you don't understand it.
