Pussies definitely shouldn't get involved in dangerous situations.
A man wouldnt have thought twice about putting the pitbull down, while skinning the bobcat he killed earlier.

this is why nobody ever wants to help anyone in need. There are crazy people out there AND know this fricked up society, you could get sued for trying to help someone
We live in a very fricked up world
Having said, kudos for being a good Samaritan!

There is nothing unusual with a Pittbulla jaw structure compared to other canines

You really want to take this position? I would love to see you defend these trash dogs.

Props!
You did what you could. You may have saved the old man's life too.

I’d like to give that old man a medal for killing that piece of shite. I want to exterminate pitbulls and violently if necessary.

Knives don’t do anything to pit’s. I’ve seen one with 2 knives stuck in it’s neck and it still has to be shot 4 times. I always carry, especially if my kids are with me. The old motto of its better to have and not need than need and not have is what I go by.

Sadly the pounds are full of them. Almost every non Pitt dog gets picked up by a specialist rescuer leaving only Pitt bills and really old dogs at shelters. I had a Pit once and he was a good boy. But he ate through a wall to escape once. I mean ate the drywall, then tore out the fiberglass then ate the OSB, then the hardiplank and got out. They are machines.
They can be loving, but so can a tiger or a chimpanzee.
I feel they should be a law that requires sterilization of any pittbulls.

Bone structure? No
Muscle structure? Yes
If you have ever played with a Pitt you know they have immense jaw pressure. While they don't "lock " (neither do reptilians that the term came from either) they are incredibly strong and can be held closed with hundreds of pounds of force.
There is usually over an inch of muscle from the outside of the molar to the outside of their jaw. Most other dogs you can feel their molars when you run their jaw. On a pit you just feel muscle.

So what would the OT have done? Looking back I kind of wish I wouldn't have stopped but the old man looked like he could have been injured. Once the knife was out I knew it was ending soon and I didn't want the old man or the pitbull owner to attack me.
A couple years ago a pit bull attacked and killed my weiner dog in my yard. I heard the dog squeal and instantly ran outside and just through instinct I kicked the pit bull in the stomach as hard as I could and he dropped my dog and ran off. In 30 sec or so it was too late as the pit had already mortally wounded my dog.
The pit was loose from somewhere nearby but to this day I have never seen that dog again and had never seen it before either.

Only thing trashier than a pit bull is a pit bull owner.

Just imagine being on a nice Saturday stroll and watching your dog die in front of you. The yard where the pitbull came from had other pitbulls chained up.
Go back, casually walking your dog while carrying an ar-15. Be a goddamn hero and wipe them out.
