I told you these cars were not worth a shite once the warranty is up. Nice as hell, but way too many problems and expensive to fix.

I don’t ever take mine to the dealership, but already had to replace the water pump on a 2018 just a few months back. Was about $1500.

You have to be a real masochist to own about any Eurocar out of warranty.

Especially an Audi.

Haf a 2010 and a 2015, no issues.

As far as Audi dethroning Range Rover, that's a tall order...

ETA: in terms of crappy build quality...

I'm not a fan of Audis, in general.

Ive never felt their build quality was up to BMW or Porsche.

But that's solid advice.

My mom has an audi, her third one in a row. My brother and his wife both drive an audi. None of them have any problems with the car.

My wife and daughter both drove 2016 Audis. My wife’s was a Q5 and my daughter still has an A3 convertible. Both cars had water pump leakage at about 60k. I replaced the one on the q5 myself after spending $1200 at a local shop for the A3. I had to remove the fuel system and intake manifold to get to it. The water pumps are called “thermostat housings” for some reason and they are made of plastic. They are driven by a separate covered belt that is driven by the camshaft. You can get an aluminum replacement. Between the carbon buildup, water pump problems, turbo problems (waste gate actuator gets loose and throws a code until the turbo eventually craps out) and other crap, my advice to an Audi owner is to DUMP IT ASAP! I will never own another Audi so help me God!

At no point in my 40+ years of driving did I ever entertain the idea of buying an Audi. I can't imagine why anyone would.
