Yeah, the OT echo chamber notwithstanding, I've seen a lot of people get pissed that W&J left the Lafayette airwaves. Even if you can catch JBO, which I can't, it cuts them off at 9 to play Glen fricking Beck.
I listened to most of this week's shows, and contrary to the chorus, they talked about Obama and politics maybe 2% of the time, and current events the rest of the time, just like everyone else. The only difference is that they don't have a crowd of sycophants in the studio laughing hysterically at shitty jokes.

What station in B.R. has Michael Berry? Because in NOLA when they left 95.7 they went over to WRNO and RNO ditched Gerry V.

Honestly, I am surprised that they lasted this long...they were there when I was at LSU 25 years ago.

Also, Condon was a horrible person to put on 98.1. He may be the only person they could have put on who was worse than W&J.

WJBO used to be a respected local station but now NONE of their programming is local. They have Rush and Hannity so just from having the two biggest talk shows on radio they'll always be relevant.
I wonder how many moms who used to listen to WJBO in the morning turned it on with their kids in the car not knowing Walton and Johnson switched over and freaked out after they were talking about naked chicks and Mexicans and shite. I bet WJBO's gotten a lot of phone calls from mad moms and SJWs. Walton and Johnson was a good fit on 98.1 because the audience is pretty trashy overall. WJBO is a weird spot for them.
