Till this day, I don't think any resort there compares to the Polynesian. The pools at all the other resorts do not hold a candle next to theirs. The restaurants are exceptional and the rooms are nice and spacious.

Polynesian is easily my favorite resort on property. Never stayed at the Contemporary or Grand Floridian, but we also LOVE Wilderness Lodge. Busing it places never really bothers me....but I do prefer a monorail ride when it can be had.

Our physics teacher senior year of high school took a bunch of us to Disney. You know, because of physics.

It was a blast with 100 or so friends being there. I can't remember enough for a detailed review.

The smoked salmon and poached cod is unbelievable. I usually get the Norwegian meatballs I forget the name.

I've been on packed buses plenty of times. I expect it. Even still they're not that bad. I actually prefer the buses to driving myself around.

Going to stay on the monorail for the first time this next trip. Bay lake towers. It's what I'm most excited about. Plan is to get a MK view. But I wouldn't hate the lake view if it comes to it.

The lake view sucks you get woken up by a blow horn from the incoming boat every morning at like 7 am. I wanted to throw something at them while I was trying to sleep off a hangover.

We stayed at Port of Orleans FQ. Cost $10 each way to every park. $20 round trip was well worth it.

Never once over the 4th of July weekend which is a high volume weekend was I in a bus that was absolutely at capacity. My most recent trip at CBR some buses were close. It just seems wasteful to take a taxi.

This last time we were there at the tail end of the Food and Wine Festival. I would like to go just the wife and I for a week.
We just did this, no kids. Wife and i would get up early and go to whatever park we wanted to when they opened. Ride the big rides and then go back to the hotel (Beach Club) to take a nap. Then we would walk over to the back gate of Epcot for food and wine all evening/night. Was only relaxing Disney trip we've ever had LOL.

Our descion to use cabs had nothing to do with the buses being crowded. Cabs were quicker, more comfy, and after having to deal with the crowds all day it's nice to be alone with just the wife and kids.

Sounds like a great vacation. Since the kids are so young we didn't get a chance to go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. We definitely would get atleast one day a piece if we were without kids.

Is where we stay now. And the monorail was mandatory for me when kids were in strollers. Screw waking them up and picking them up and folding and unfolding strollers to ride a bus. No kids in strollers no biggie.
I would rather go anywhere almost, but the kids enjoy so the wife likes to bring them.
