First, frick this country's stupid tipping culture. Signed up for Walmart plus. Thought I'd give it a try.

First order I see that there's a tip option. Wtf? Then I start digging into it and see that third party drivers are going to deliver your groceries? frick that.

I don't door dash or Uber eats or any of that bullshite. I'm not tipping when I'm paying for a subscription. I'm also not going to not tip and trust some lackey with my groceries.

Back to just going with Amazon prime and Costco. I'll pick my stuff up myself.

And before the "you're cheap" comments rain down. I do tip at least 20 percent or more for good dine in service at restaurants. But I am very anti tipping for take out or counter service.

shite is ridiculous especially when food is so outrageous now.

So don’t tip.

It’s not that hard to just hit “No Tip” and move on with your day.

Those Walmart delivery drivers will be doing more work than any of those restaurant workers by having to haul 5 cases of diet coke up 2 flights of stairs for your fat arse.

I'm not no tipping some random and trusting them with my food.

It's not like using kne of those dumb grocery delivery services. I'd expect to tip a driver. You're paying walmfor a subscription. I don't tip ups to deliver Amazon packages.

I just tip $5 and that’s probably too much but def not a percentage

But it does piss me off that if your not paying attention it’ll automatically put 15% on there

The worst service I've ever had at a restaurant I still tipped 15 percent. And that's happened maybe once in 10 years.

Again, I'm not mad at the drivers I'm aggravated that Walmart did a bait and switch. Their whole selling point was saving money on gas etc but you're not really saving much if you tip.

You're saving time.

It appears to be the case since you've called them lackeys.

I mean they go and shop the groceries for you and typically deliver same day to your house. I feel like if anything deserves a tip it would be this type of service that saves you the hassle and time.

Second post summed it up. It's not for me.

I have never door dashed or insta carted or any of that and never will.

I thought the service was more like prime based in their marketing.

It is not. I will say canckng and getting g a refund wasn't too hard.

And yeah, I don't like random people coming to my house. At least with UPS and FedEx, etc there is some accountability.

IKR. That's what I am saying. If anyone deserves a tip it would be them.

At first I thought Wal-Mart employees shopped the items and these third party people just delivered them, but I have come to understand that is absolutely not the case. These people are shopping the groceries. I think that deserves a tip, but that's me. Doesn't have to be whatever they suggest, but it should be something. That's just my opinion.

They dont say that. Why would I pay Walmart a subscription sevice then? Just use a grocery delivery sevice that tips shoppers. I'm not interested in that service which is what Walmart plus is I guess.
