Yes for Plus members. Just open the Sam's app or the website. It'll be the first thing you see.

There's two tiers of Sam's Club memberships. Club tier is $60/year and Plus is $120/year. Plus members get Walmart+ at no additional cost.

Lost me with this

Taking that into account if you use the delivery every week, that’s another several hundred dollars minimum on the year if you’re tipping $10 every time.

frick that

The nearest Walmart to me is 25 minutes away. I'm going to spend $10 in gas just to go roundtrip. Plus my time. Plus dealing with the Walmart crowd. It is absolutely worth it. Hell, it's worth it just to not deal with the crowds and checkout process. I can't stand the general public.

Is it only for grocery? When I have other items delivered, I don't see a tip option, and yes, I have looked for it.

That's "shipping", no tip required. Walmart workers shop those, bunch a different orders together, and pass them on to a Spark driver who drops them off at your house.

"Delivery" is where a Spark driver does both the shopping (typically) and delivery. You tip for those.

Yes, delivery is generally only useful if you need something ASAP, or you're getting groceries. Otherwise you might as well do shipping.

Throw a gallon of milk and some meat in your cart and go to checkout. You should be able to see a tipping option somewhere, since Walmart won't "ship" either, only deliver. They won't "ship" it since you may be one of 30 orders loaded into a Spark drivers vehicle, so they may get hot if you're not one of their first stops.

Also, if your order has a mix of groceries and items that can be shipped separately, Walmart will give you an option to separate the them. That leaves fewer things for the Spark driver to shop, so you can lower the tip. You might get the shipped items the next day, though.

I'm happy with the service, though. They used to have a lot of mistakes when the Walmart employees would shop everything, but them off to the side, and then the Spark drivers would pick the order up and deliver. That problem went away once the Spark drivers started doing both the shopping and delivery. That's the case at most Walmarts, but if you want to guarantee the same person shops + delivers, spend the $6 extra on the express delivery option.

Amex Platinum

Just looked at "upgrading" via the app and a disclosure message popped up saying "if you use your amex platinum to pay for this the credit will no longer work"

If you drive a lot and fuel up at a Walmark regularly, that will almost pay for the membership alone.

Actually surprised its only $120/year, I expect that to go up next year.

I already pay 100 for paramount +. Sounds like a deal to get that plus 10 cents of gas.

I have the more expensive one because I get most of my Sams delivered with no cost. But I think it is now only no cost if it is over $50. But cat litter and toilet paper alone are over $50

What are the perks of a WalMart plus account?

Sketchy people delivering your products. Exciting if you are into that sort of thing.
