Loss of reputation for the incident
The scholarship deadline passed and can’t be unilaterally changed by the principal
Mental anguish and suffering caused by dipshit’s actions
There is more that can happen but this is a step in resolving things.

Called it. Now where are all you dipshits who were thinking this would all blow over?
Also just for the record, this isn’t over. She’s going to take the LPSS to the cleaners.

The only reason is because it went national. If it had stayed local, 0 chance this happens due to the LP politics structure.

Pretty much.
Livingston Parish politics are pretty insular and even the likes of Kiran et all have a limited effect on them.
National and international attention meant the school and school board couldn’t just ignore it and let it blow over.

LP school system employed this idiot.
If BRPD gets sued for beatings in the Brave Cave, do they claim that they don’t have to pay for any judgments or settlements?

for everyone comparing this to BRPD, i'd like you to take some time and decide what was illegal in the BRPD cases and what was illegal in this case..
Principal was an idiot, but I'll hang up and listen for all the illegal activity he is accused of

Jesus you’re an idiot. He terminated her scholarship opportunity on religious grounds, in a public school setting.
Did you take constitutional law in law school or not?

Employers are often vicariously liable for acts of the employee performed during the exercise of the duties for which they are employed. I suspect Louisiana is similar to most other states in this regard. The district may have viable defenses, but I suspect they will settle with this family long before a judge or jury makes a determination on the merits.

Illegal has nothing to do with a civil trial.

For takes to be consistently as stupid as theirs have been, they are likely related to someone on the LPSB or to one of the administrators in the middle of this.
You have a right to be stupid but they seem to be abusing it.
