Definitely not. While obviously not as serious as this case, I personally witnessed him publicly embarrass an 8th grade student a couple years ago at my daughter's orientation. One of those "you keep your mouth shut while I am speaking" type things. He certainly seems to be a tough love kind of guy, but that only goes so far in modern society.

Here is another - what if there were no other student council members present and no others that the principal endorsed an application for a scholarship?
Different clubs have different rules and requirements as do different scholarships. Not sure if specific scholarship with this has even been stated.

I would think most parents would care that some fanatic could frick with their kid over something like this, but maybe I just care about my kids more than you do.
