Are his duties to be the morality police or is it to fill a prescription while making sure there are no harmful interactions?

Yeah. I love TD. When I’m bored, I can always count on the contrarians here to help me keep my brain muscles strong.

saying that, you are insinuating it is his duty to fulfill any script he gets no matter what.....IE forced to fulfill it. IE the whole thing i have ben arguing.

His duty is to fulfill the prescriptions unless for medical reasons.

He can choose to fail at those duties. That is his right.

So you're trying to argue that her convenience is now his duty? Seriously?

Does he not work in retail?

Is she not a customer?

Apparently, he is legally able to use ethical reasons as well when deciding to refuse.

Does that make it his duty?

Someone quoted that from the Walgreens handbook earlier in this thread.

Legally, yes

I'm not arguing the legality of it

If that is the Walgreens policy, then that is there policy and he is protected

I disagree with their policy

He has the right to do a lot of things. Doesn’t mean it’s the duties of his job. You haven’t been able to differentiate between the two here.

I wonder if every pharmacy has those policies

Being covered by the law doesn't make one right.

The guys on the corner shouting white power or black lives matter aren't doing anything illegal, but they aren't right.

Yeah.

I guess my point is that if he was my employee, he would be fired.

And on her fb post she admits that she got an email right after leaving the Walgreens Thursday saying her prescription was ready for pick up at another location. Sounds like SHE decided to go pick it up the following morning. See what I mean....she is saying different things in each one(article, fb, and CNN).

Hmm. That’s new information. If it was ready somewhere else a few minutes later, then the pharmacist absolutely did his job and there is no story here.

Welp, no more to see here. I’m going to get lunch and start drinking early.
