Oh and btw, my job starts at over $65,000, so hopefully I passed.

Salary really depends on where you work. I know people making much more than me, starting out. I also know people that will work for the state and will be lucky to make $40,000.

I was just telling my brother today that if someone asked my advice on whether to go to law school, I would say, "Go only If you... [insert some conditions], and even then, don't go."

I may be jaded.

Good luck to the bar exam crowd though. I took only Georgia.

As my friend, who took Ga after practicing a couple years in another jurisdiction, said about the ease of this State's bar exam,"I looked to my left, and looked to my right and then heard a girl talking about the brownie in a mug she'd made the night before and knew I had it."

Public defenders make in some cases 35-40 a year.

Orleans DA's office starts at 46k. But you can get to 60-65k in a year as a senior and if you can try murders, 85k prob 3 years in.

Probably accurate for many. Except state workers who could start lower.

I think there are some of them get student loan forgiveness. So real salary is higher.
