It's been years since I watched local news at my grandparents house, so I'm out of the local news loop, as it were. With that said, I'm attempting to watch the local news every day. My intent is to record the 6:00 pm news and watch it without commercials before I fall asleep.

Should I watch WAFB or WBRZ?

Also, is there a significant difference between the 6:00 pm news and the news at 10:00 pm, other than updates to ongoing events?

you needed an alter to ask this?

I guess you were afraid of WBRZ taking reprisals against your family. Pat Shingleton's a vindictive bastard.

WBRZ is much better. If you're really feeling adventurous, try the NBC station

6 news is all about the biggest local stories of the day. 10 news has more investigative stories, special reports and things that happened between 6 and 10 (City Council meetings and primetime sporting events).

wbrz's investigative unit puts it over the top. at 6:00, put it on channel 2 then keep it on for one of the best television shows on the air, wheel of fortune.

10:00 pm news will have coverage on a North Baton Rouge murder that occurred after 6pm.
