I watched the first three episodes and I'm annoyed that everyone is hiding something. They can't just have a character who is what he seems.

I'm not bailing yet, but I don't think it will be long. The show is borderline exhausting to watch.

re: Life in Denham Springs

I live in Watson and work downtown. I'm from BR. I've been in Watson for 4 years and still haven't adjusted to the rednecks. The amount of rebel flags flying on the back of jacked up trucks is astounding.

My biggest pet peeve, along with traffic, is having to say I'm from Watson. I miss being able to say I live in Baton Rouge.

Also, know where your friends live. If you get drinks with your friends regularly, realize you will have a 45 minute drive back to your house if you are getting drinks anywhere other than a daiquiri shop on Denham.

WR depth in NFL

Posted by Alter Number 3 on 10/6/15 at 8:28 am
My WRs are average to below average and I have RBs putting up consistent numbers on my bench. So while trying to trade away a couple RBs I noticed that everyone has a depth problem at WR and everyone has a decent stable of RBs.

Is it just me or is there an overall lack of depth at the position, WR, in terms of fantasy football? I can't believe we are to the point where I'm mad at myself for dropping Devin Funchess. Are we?
Why don't you create a Facebook and make it private.

re: What is my next move?

It's a keeper league, and per the rules I'm unable to keep Forte another year. Was thinking of putting him together with Watkins for a solid WR 1 that I could keep for a couple years.

This is my first keeper league, so I'm struggling to juggle trying to win now at all cost and building for the future.

What is my next move?

I'm nervous I'm about to have four good running backs (pending Foster's return). I'm thinking trading a WR and a RB for a premier WR. Good move?

Qb- Carson Palmer
RB- Matt Forte
RB- Mark Ingram
Wr- Sammy Watkins
Wr- Larry Fitzgerald
Flex- Carlos Hyde
Te- Greg Olsen
K- Adam Vinetairi
Def- Panthers

Bench:
Arian Foster
DeShean Jackson
Owen Daniels
Patriots D
Eagles D
Jamies Winston
Anquan Boldin

Standard league

re: Worried about Forte?

Due to injuries, my only other option for Forte is to move Hyde to RB1 and Bolden to flex. I don't know if I could do that no matter the circumstances
Everytime I listen to the Swaguar Journal, Reggie Flood is complaining about home game attendance. Apparently Southern has the reverse problem of every other school in the nation- they travel well, but can't get a soul to show up to home games.
Why don't you invest in black out curtains. That may not be your problem, but worth the expense to see if it is.

Guy mentioned Tonya in another thread, and it got me thinking.

I would have to give Cameron from TRW- San Diego the nod. She is also now on another reality TV show.

Also, Johnny from TRW- Key West was solid throughout TRW, but also The Challenge.

Bigger Set of Golf Clubs

Posted by Alter Number 3 on 8/18/15 at 6:41 am
I realize this topic is brought up frequently, but this one has a smidge of a twist.

I'm a golfer that is fairly knowledgeable about the golf club market, so I was asked to help a family friend buy golf clubs. I'm likely to recommend buying a set off Ebay. The Walmart and Academy sets are trash, and you can get a 3-4 year old set of Pings that are in great shape for about the same price. I may even suggest some 20 year-old BeCu Eye2's, as it were.

Here is where I need the MSB's help. The future owner of the set is a high school kid who is between 5'4" and 5'5". I am 6' and I have stock length and lie, and I wasn't playing golf when I was 5'5". I have no gauge on what is the proper length and lie for that height. In my head, it is between .5" and 1" short and a degree flat.

Also, to answer questions before they arise. He started playing golf about three weeks ago. I don't think he needs to get fitted: 1. He could end up quitting in a month, and spending the time, effort, and money isn't worth it; 2. He couldn't repeat the same swing twice if his life depended on it, so fitting isn't going to help that much.

TL;DR- What do you estimate the length and lie for a beginner set of golf clubs for a male that is 5'5". My best guess is .5" short, 1 degree flat. TIA
Who in Natchitoches is buying enough autographs to warrant a union to protect the players?
Larry Benoit was really good.
Assuming you have the ability to host outside of NOLA, you could improve the existing sites. That would cut some costs and ensure future use.

Lsu track facility. I realize you would have to add a ton of seating.

Could you turn the cajun dome or the river center into a swimming venue?
Between Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lafayette, I think there are already enough stadiums.

You would have to spruce a lot of them up, but renovation is cheaper than construction.
New Orleans should get in the mix for a summer games.
