That came on after the football game and I was waiting for her to break out in "waiting all day for Sunday night".

Many of them from South Louisiana already had to watch something just as disturbing with that Saints loss to the Raiders right before 60 minutes.
How did CBS handle this. I know the Saints finished sort of late and most of the time CBS will run 60 minutes in its entirety and delay programs that follow it. Since it is a live awards show, it would be kind of hard to tape delay it in some markets while other areas it is live. It is not impossible to do with the right equipment.
Fox on the other hand rarely delays its schedule for football and will join shows already in progress if a late game is going late.
Before Fox started doing the OT, the kiss of death time slot for some shows like Futurama was the Sunday 6 pm slot, so in the fall ratings suffered when most of the time the show would not air over the entire network if a game went long.
Once Fox started doing the OT on doubleheader game days, that allowed Football to go to 7 pm and no shows except on the west coast were scheduled at 6 pm on Sundays.

If they no longer show videos how the hell do they pick winners? I don't think I've watched since the early 90s, other than to watch prime Brit in 2000 & 01.
