100% agree…..but I’d be as shocked if this went to trial in the 90s as I would be today if Vince doesn’t get some jail time and significant damage payouts.

Vince’s history of stuffing people on financial agreements and getting away with it got him to shite the bed this time around.

Without knowing more than what was in the previous thread, this sounds way more like a “this chick is a total freak and loved all of the sick shite that was done to her on the daily” than a “powerful mogul sexually abuses poor lady” kind of thing.
And I’m not even trying to victim blame. But a grown adult, that I assume to be paid handsomely, going back over and over for freakish shite when she could’ve left or put a stop to it. Vince’s texts seem to me like someone who got off on the freaky shite she did, more than someone trying to force her into doing it. But again, that’s without all the information and just a gut feeling.

I’m certain his attorneys will go with that, but like I said in today’s climate coupled with other unsubstantiated allegations over the years I think he goes down hard.

These allegations only came out because Vince stopped paying her. He's not going to jail. He's just gonna have to pay her a lot more now. Laurenitis is gonna have to pay her too.

I think it is a large part this, and a bit of pressure (or I guess grooming for lack of a better word) from Vince.
I'm not naive enough to think that Vince wouldn't be capable of at least hanging her job and financial well-being over her head to help get what he wanted. I just think she's a hell of a lot more willing than what she, and her lawyers, are portraying.

So how is Brick involved in all this. I hear they are dreading his whole history with WWE. What’s that all about???
Posted on 2/19/24 at 5:56 pm to dukke v
Supposedly Vince was showing her nudes to Brock and trying to set them up to get together. Then she sent Brock a video of herself taking a piss and Brock called her a bitch. Brock and Vince are getting the Benoit treatment now.
Posted on 2/19/24 at 6:03 pm to Brosef Stalin
And they are blaming Brock for this????

We shall see…maybe criminal charges won’t be filed. If they are and they make it to court that won’t be good.

It’s gonna suck if current guys get punished
Somehow gif something Vince and his dwarfs did. The WWE is pretty popular but I’m sure a ton of crap goes on back stage that we will never know about.

She was fine with it as long as she was getting paid. Assuming he actually did it which who knows.
Let’s be real, the only reason why these allegations are coming out now is because he just cashed out from the TKO deal and his age. These women saw a chance to get one big final payday directly from him and then they go on the Sympathy and Outrage circuit for attention and more compensation.
It’s no secret that Vince cheated on Linda. Morally that’s wrong (though she has had rumors of doing the same but that’s another story), but that’s not a crime. Vince was likely into some kinky stuff, who knows how weird or depraved, but again, as long as it was consensual, that’s not the public’s business. Let’s be honest though, the women are most likely blackmailing him because of whatever kinks he had. They were absolutely fine taking his hush money and disappearing until that TKO deal came about.
The problem is we have too many people who will believe each and every allegation a woman makes against a man and equate it with other women who have done repulsive shite that were actual crimes (Weinstein).

I think the issue is the hush money stopped coming.

If what is alleged is true, that guy needs to die in prison. The depravity of what he is accused of is straight up repulsive
Not the type of man you would expect a presidential appointee to be associated with.

I was joking man. I don't care.
And I don't believe half of what I hear.

If you’ve listened to any of these old wrestlers doing shoot interviews online, depravity is all over that business. There’s a story about Flair and a few others acting like complete animals on a chartered flight that involves at least one flight attendant. It was apparently so bad that a few other wrestlers had to step in and stop it.
