They are still in production around the world. At least one country still uses it as their current issue medium MG. Not Germany though, it's the Netherlands or someone like that. I can't remember but I have seen them in use.

The way they kept picking up AK47's and then throwing them on the floor. Then fumbling around with grenade launchers and RPG's definitely made me think of Call Duty/Battlefield

The Peshmerga are badasses. They also have a bunch of females in combat roles. I wonder if that's possible to do anywhere else........
