I don't see a problem with how the Trooper handled it. Had the guy left when he was told to take a walk, none of this would have happened. Some people can't handle alcohol.

Yeah until about 10 years ago it was nothing at all for NOPD to beat the shot out of some piece of shite. Anyone with half a brain knew not to fck with them.

I'd rather keep running into cops in the quarter instead of people asking where I got my shoes or pissing on buildings or trying to speak to me asking me for shite or peddling shite.

i'm just saying that it has been pointed out more than anything in this thread and the facebook page.
i'm in no way a boot licker, but it seems like people really want to latch on to something seemingly inappropriate done by the cop when it just isn't there.

I disagree. I think the comments would be the same with a minority (pun intended) of people criticising a hypothetical white cop. Things on this site tend to divide along racial lines when race is involved.

I saw a cop shove an uncooperative individual out of the way- arguably for his own safety. That individual was too drunk to maintain coordination and fell into adjacent trash receptacles. Any resulting injuries are the results of that individual's inability to handle his liquor. nothing to see here, move along.

I didn't say take away the french quarter, I said Bourbon Street has become a shite show. The street was not always in its current state and tourism still existed.
