Video of Interaction Between Bigoted UGA Instructor and White Student

The story of a University of Georgia instructor’s bigoted and hateful tweets regarding white people made the rounds on here a few weeks ago.

However, I had not discovered the following video when this story initially broke. Yes, it was published soon after the controversy emerged. But I'm not sure that many people had the opportunity to watch this footage.

The context is that a supposedly gay and Jewish student, who is taking one of Osei-Frimpong's sociology/philosophy classes, decided to express his vehement disapproval of the TA's racially-charged statements online.

Baw ain't taking this hateful shite

The video frustrates me on a number of levels: 1) the inability of the instructor to directly engage this student in a worthwhile dialogue related to the comments in question, 2) the interjections of students, particularly white females, as the young man attempts to convey his point, and 3) the incessant snapping once the indoctrinated students begin to support their instructor (anyone who snaps in approval is a fig, and I don't mean that as a derogatory term towards homosexuals).

I enrolled at the University of Georgia last August without any awareness of its growing left-leaning ideologies. For Christ's sakes, we were asked during our first day of graduate school about what our preferred pronouns were!

I chuckled years ago when a former history classmate and fried of mine, now a lawyer in southern California, remarked how overtly conservative LSU was as an academic institution. I found her view to be humorous because, even then, I began to sense the rising presence of such particular social and political views at my eventual alma mater. My experience with coursework in the humanities and social sciences, a section of academia fraught with leftists, always gave me a slightly better insight into such trends.

I've been out of the humanities and social sciences now for nearly six years. During such time, I have grown partially ignorant to such issues, because my work in kinesiology seldom delves into too many social or political issues.

frick this shite. I am so sick and tired of my generation and the subsequent one behind us that is willing to acquiesce to this hypocritical, nonsensical horseshite.

I thought that it was fantastic that a gay student (one speaking not with the stereotypical homosexual lisp synonymous with his community, but with a distinct Southern drawl) chose to speak out. Sometimes, you have to applaud how much gay men don't give a flying frick about shite and will freely speak their minds.
