Video of base jumpers jumping off new world trade center

I know this is old video from couple years ago but I always wondered how the 9/11 jumpers felt jumping out of the towers. At the 2:48 mark you can see the second jumper's go pro camera as he jumps and freak that. I know the jumpers that day had a tough decision with jumping or burn alive inside.

i didnt realize go pro cameras existed prior to 2001.

I don’t what’s more dangerous, the jump or landing in the middle of a Manhattan street.

Unfortunately, they did. Either burn up/die from collapse or jump. Neither decision was good.

I just think that with how emotionally charged that site is, while yeah it's a tall AF building, maybe BASE jumping off it for personal fulfillment and social media likes is a little disrespectful.

I guess you could call it a decision insomuch as someone “decides” not to get burnt when presented with a fire.

It's possible smoke inhilation would get you before you burn. Either way terrible people had to make that decision.
