I think the worst thing about the video is, it goes on for a further 10 minutes after the shooting and the police never show

I don't know if that is the worst thing, but its definitely not good

shite my house got broken into and the cops took over 30 minutes to get there, my father in law came from Mandeville and got there at the same time as the cops

My guess is that very few normal, decent people want to put up with that shite on a daily basis. And the ones who do, can't qualify.

Because noone wants to deal with these clowns for what they pay. On top of that the ones who do have no business being police and making critical decisions in high pressure situations. NOPD is in a bad bad spot right now.

Doubt the cops catch this guy before his intended targets do. One can hope I guess...

Do these guys not watch action movies? Gotta put the choppa to your shoulder and look down those sights if you wanna make them bodies turn cold, Snoopy.

why is the AK such a popular gun with that crowd? Why not an M4 or something else?

Instead of addressing this issue, Mitch Landrieu would rather concern himself with taking down a Robert E. Lee statue. Got it.

Notice the 2 witnesses to the left when the guy starts shooting. The ol' "No snitch" policy at work there.

It would be a blood bath out there if these assholes ever took the time to actually learn how to shoot.

A) "that crowd" smh@racism

B) "AK" just rolls of the tongue better in ganster rap.

I dont own any guns or shoot them often but my wife's uncle let me fire his 3-4 guns the other day and after shooting a full clip of the AK out in the middle of nowhere I think I actually got "high" from it.

That SOB was loud too. I've never fired an assault rifle before but even I knew how to shoot it. I have no idea what this guy is doing.

Excellent muzzle control. Would hire him as a firearms instructor.

I listen to my radio at shift change, and there are usually between 20-65 calls holding awaiting an officer to be freed up, with 3-15 being Code 2's, which is something just like this....and that's just in one district.

That could be really bad or really good? Either way I don't want to be there.

It's kind of hard to know how fast they got there since the shooting was around the corner from where that camera is located. Also, just because they didn't show up to the scene doesn't mean they didn't call on the make and model of the car and had already started looking for the shooter. I'm not an NOPD apologist but those people are tasked with an incredible job with very limited resources.
