Food on the face is a normal thing when you have kids. Clean up one time at the end of the meal or else you do it 100 times.
More than likely the kid asked to try it over and over and over. The parent finally said here try it, happens to ever parent

You don't give an infant wasabi so you can record it for your personal amusement.
You don't know that

What if. This reeks of overprotective helicopter parent raising snowflakes. The kid tried something spicy, big deal.

I wonder how LucasP feels about this. That's right, we'll never know.

He’d think it’s a cute video too

It's wasabi. It's not going to blind them. It's not going to kill them. Let kids live life a little, don't need to clutch pearls.

I don't see the harm in it. She barely got a taste. We used to let our kids try almost anything we were eating when they were young and they turned out fine.

To get them to try new stuff, why not.
I hear ya, but that’s not how you do that. It’s like feeding kids beets out of a can. Try cooking beets properly, like roasting them. The difference is astronomical. Don’t feed them frickin wasabi and then scratch your head why kids become finicky eaters later on. Just make stuff taste good. .

Some major vagina's in this thread. It was a tiny bit of wasabi my god. The kid will be fine

I can't tell if all the pearl clutching in here is a troll.
The OT has been losing it over really insignificant things lately.
I've let all my kids bite into a lemon just to laugh at the reaction. Wonder which one will kill me and which one will be sucking dick for crack by 15 because of it.

I thought it was cute
Went with a group to lunch at a Japanese place. One fat woman had never been to one.
She grabbed the entire chunk of wasabi, said, "What's this?" and tossed it in her mouth before anyone could respond.
I thought that was cute.

The OT is the biggest bunch of hardasses with no sympathy for anyone ... except dogs and kids.
They will break down crying about a dog with fleas while kicking the teeth out of an old man who drives too slow.

Yeah it's a nasal heat like mustard.
Part of that is that almost all wasabi in the US is fake. Uses horseradish and mustard oil to “recreate” the favor.

That kid is a mess. No hate on the kid, but parents are idiots.
