The dude who's Twitter account you linked is one of biggest POS on the planet.
Let's see what led up to that edited clip. Also, not a sucker punch

I wonder why the lady videoing chose to pair the clip down to the moment before the action described in the OP? Could it be she doesn’t want people to see what occurred prior to that moment?

Something tells me that is a high crime area and have plenty of actually shootings.
So when the first officer showed up on scene and people got stupid, he called for back up.
Back up shower up and fixed the situation

Context and backstory is everything. However certainly doesn’t help whenever people are standing around totally ignoring multiple armed officers. Or screaming in hysterics while filming. Or complete disregard for knocking over young children (why is that toddler in the street to begin with) while injecting yourself into police business. If I was a cop and all that unnecessary and unsettling commotion was going on, I’d be a little more rash than normal too.

That wasn’t a sucker punch at all.

The black guy was squaring up when he got dropped.
How in the hell could you call that a sucker punch?

Black guy clearly pushed the cops arm away with his right hand. Don’t put your hands on a cop and you won’t get smacked. I see no problem with this.

My observations
1. The woman filming and the guy posting clearly have a major agenda.
2. There is no way the guy did absolutely nothing wrong.
3. Even still, it is hard to imagine a scenario that justifies the cops "punching" the guy given what we saw.
4. That punch was weak af
5. That dude has a glass chin.
6. The woman is arguably the most annoying person I've ever come across.
7. Cop should know better
8. Apparently this cop is popular in urban Columbus for his dance moves, guess that won't be the case anymore.

Judging by the way his momma was running her mouth I’m willing to bet he was running his mouth just as well and he got knocked the frick out

Yea, that cop is getting fired.

Looks like he got what he deserved. If his dumbass was at work that might not have happened.

Facing somebody isn't squaring up, and he only was facing him after the cop shoved him and spun him around

I’d like to see what he did prior to filming. Obviously deserved a beat down.

He was squaring up and had a clinched fist.
