The camera isn't even on him long enough before he gets punched to see his first, but okay. They certainly weren't clinched from what we can see immediately after he was shoved, but that would be a natural and instinctual reaction to getting shoved hard out of nowhere when you're looking in a different direction and focused on somebody else
