Not particularly a new concept, just well articulated

3 minute video, but well worth the short time investment

Cliff's: Social media algorithms and reaction content create 2 dimensional caricatures of headline-making people, then makes you comfortable about the strong opinions you have about those people, even with no context or real understanding.

Yep. It also has the knock on effect of chilling any attempts at discussion, because the moment you say anything other than “X Person is wrong/stupid/evil”, the person you are talking to is no longer listening to you; all they can think about is the caricature they have in their head, and then they project every aspect of that caricature onto you.

Do they know for sure who killed him and how? A lot of things aren’t adding up.

Were you just making a distasteful attempt at showing Andrew Schulz to be correct, or did you just ignorantly back into proving him to be correct?

It’s a serious discussion that’s been going on about what happened. My question was nothing but a question. Settle down.

Besides being one of the best comedians alive, his social commentary and understanding of what’s going on is unmatched.

IMO that was one of the better articulated explanations of social media and politics in today’s America.

The world changed for "seeing is believing" to "believing is seeing." That means that if you want to believe something, searching for it or even gravitating towards it on the internet will feed you confirmative info.

They have a long list of things to call a person who doesn’t worship trump. It’s a one minded rabbit hole.

That is wrong, and that is what the video is saying.

You don't have to search it, the social media algorithm feeds it to you
