Not necessarily, but if you have one guy getting a room and it takes a goddamn forklift to bring up his luggage, it begs questions.

Few months ago I got into Vegas at like 3am. I was starving and walked with my suitcase through the casino floor to a restaurant. I had every dealer and security guard staring me down. Didn’t even occur to me why until the next morning. I’m sure I had cameras on me the rest of the trip

The lawyers advised them to settle...so there must be some reason that made them think they wouldn't win...Didn't it take a crazy amount of time for the hotel security to react?

Where does that money come from?

From the resort fees. Interestingly enough, the locals are fighting these fees. If you're from there and do not work on the strip you tend to avoid the place. They realize the resort fees are hurting the tourism

I thought the webcam was in the hallway to watch people approaching the room.

If you gamble at any of these places, they typically throw you some good deals on rooms until you realized there's 75 dollars a day just in resort fees and then taxes off of that. All MGM properties and other strip properties have this now just at different rates.

I just posted an article on the Travel board. This shite has to go. Back on topic though, I hate that MGM is being blamed for this. There wasn't anything they could have reasonably done imo

how is it MGM's fault? will hotels have to start xraying luggage now?

This was part of one of the conspiracies actually.

Victim culture. How in a million years is MGM supposed to protect these people from a nutjob on a suicide mission.
Sometimes life just sucks, not everything is someone else's fault. Same as the 9/11 fund that Jon Stewart was crying about. Same reason lawyers in Louisiana think that every person that gets in a car wreck should get hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In the long run, it costs all of us.

Jurors are morons. You don’t leave billions up to them. Scumbag lawyers prey on that fact.
