An explosion tore through the plane she was on and she fell 33,300 ft and survived. I’d hit it harder than the ground did.

and smoked a cigarette in the hospital bed to celebrate. Guess she felt pretty invincible at that point.

So minor injuries, relatively speaking.

Did she hit trees or a snow slope? The wind had to buffer her fall in some way.

I've seen hotter women falling into the quad on a Tuesday.

Her name was so sensual and suggestive, it's almost obscene.

She looks like Goldie Hawn. How is it possible to reach terminal velocity and not terminate? What a crazy story.

33,000 ft of falling thinking you are going to die. That has to be awesome when you wake up. "Holy fricking shite I am alive."

Yeah, she was only in a coma for 10 days. "Walk that off. Rub some dirt and spray some Windex(tm) on it."

There are reports that she landed at an optimal angle on the side of a snow covered mountain and that reduced the impact somewhat. I don’t think it has ever been verified though.

She was in the plane, so there was more wind resistance from the plane.

"She was in hospital for 16 months after emerging from a 27 day coma and having many bones broken.

It is estimated that the human body reaches 99% of its low level terminal velocity after falling 573 m (1,880 ft) which takes 13 - 14 sec. This is 188-201 km/h (117 - 125 mph) at normal atmospheric pressure in a random posture, but up to 298 km/h (185 mph) in a head down position."

Not exactly minor injuries, but a hell of lot better than being dead.
