Two orphaned young gorillas are raised by conservationist and businessman Damien Aspinal. At the time the gorillas were being cared for, Damien's daughter was a small child. The gorillas were released into the wild 12 years ago.

It was interesting to see the gorillas react to Damien (who they had not seen in four years) and the daughter (who is now grown and who the gorillas had not see in 12 years.

Notice they didn't want her to leave. The father was free to go.

I definitely fell for it.

It was a nice break - was watching all the videos of beaten and chained dog rescues.

The worst - where a family dumps their dog at the pound, then comes back to get another dog. The original dog, Zuzu, sees them thinking she's going home again.

That story may have had a little bit of a different tone had they been two big knuckle dragging silverbacks!

Part of that video had a bit of a "Deliverance" feel to it.

As would I.

Daddy is worth >$220 million and is some form of minor English royalty. She's quite often referred to by the press as Heiress Tandy Aspinall.

May the flies of a thousand camels be upon you for linking that video. Those people are awful.

I watched it without audio, and I need someone to explain to me why that man was annoying the shite out of those apes.
