I was in the Army with a guy who was a vegetarian ,because he claimed he would throw up when he ate meat. I don't know if there is such a condition or he was just lying ,but he was definitely the weakest guy in our Company and he struggled to make minimum weight. At the time I was slim and outweighed him by about 50 lbs. I don't see why someone would willing choose that diet. I mean maybe his claim was legit and there are people with certain deficiencies that do not allow them to consume meat ,but as a male to do that willingly is beyond me. It makes you weak and feeble.

We are still arguing what a proper balance is but if you exercise enough and track your bodies output and reaction to those efforts your body will tell you what it needs.

Bingo.

Everyone is different. I can function at a high level with very little carbs--just fats and protein. But if I go all day with little to no animal protein, or too much carbs for some reason, my energy sucks and I'm always hungry.

You don’t need fiber. My shits are way easier since I’ve switched my diet to strictly plant based. Had a colonoscopy in October of 2020 and it was perfect.

Well..no shite.

Whether you believe in God or evolution, the human machine was designed as an omnivore. You are either ignoring God or science when you fight this.

Our ancient ancestors only ate plant materials in times of emergency. The human brain as we know it developed on almost exclusively carnivorous diets.

Some of the most critical nutrients for brain development can only be found in animal proteins.

Also technically this doesn’t make you a carnivore. You are an omnivore who is currently eating only animal products.

A change in diet doesn’t change the evolutionary edict for a species
