I mean, that looks better than areas that abut the downtown areas of every city and most towns in Louisiana.

BR has more litter,

Fact. I drove from denham to Prairieville via 12/airline and back yesterday taking Antioch to O’Neal to I12 on the return trip. The amount of litter everywhere in EBR is disgusting and an embarrassment. Obviously the city/parish makes absolutely no effort to pick up trash anywhere. BR is a disgrace.

this isnt just a post-pandemic thing, either.

i had a gf who moved to vegas with her family back around 1999; the strip and the rest of las vegas are like two completely separate worlds.

Vegas has looked like that for a few decades now. That looks to be Naked City which has always been bad. Remmeber, Vegas isn't just the Strip

This was true years ago. We went to the NFR. Had a few drinks before and during. As you do. Didn’t want to wait in the ridiculous cab and limo line. Limo drivers were waiting and taking breaks until people got desperate and paid $100.

We walk. A cab driver stops randomly 1/3 of of the way back to the strip. “You’ve GOT to be lost. Get in. “ he charged his normal fare. Said he thought about keeping on but was worried he’d “read about us” in a day or two. Lol

Strange take.

Why did you reference Prairieville?

I don’t know where you live, but I believe Prairieville is in the 80th percentile according to FBI crime statistics as to areas least affected by crime. Meaning it’s safer than 80% of all cities and towns in the nation.
