While sad, this is not a product of veganism but of an eating disorder which can just as well occur in someone who only eats meat.

The human body is not designed to consume fruits & vegetables alone just as it’s not designed to consume only meat. We are omnivores and it’s stupid to pretend we’re not.

You don’t walk 15-20 miles a day.

This kind of diet played a part in Steve Jobs death. Doctors caught his cancer early and it was very treatable. Instead he went on an all fruit diet to treat it and died due to it.

In those pics, she looks just like the eye doctor I saw a few years ago when I went to get a new pair of glasses.

During the exam she just had to tell me she was a vegan----I shite you not. And when she said that I figured I could rule out Stage 4 Cancer as her reason for being so frail looking.

Hell of a platform to embrace and bet your overall health on.

Appears she died in a protracted fashion from self imposed starvation. Seriously, she should make a commercial for food for African children.

According to the thread about this yesterday, not only did she only eat fruit, but she only ate two kinds of fruit. Calling that veganism is like claiming that someone who only eats Slim Jims and bologna slices is on the carnivore diet.

at her weight and with that diet something tells me W Bush was president the last time she had a period.

Most likely true.

But, my ex ended up getting pregnant while being a raging bulimic and somehow carried my son full term while binging and purging the entire time unbeknownst to me.

It amazes me how anyone could essentially starve themselves to death with access to food. You’d think the survival instinct would kick in and you eat a fricking steak.

That’s some impressive discipline.

Veganism will catch the headlines but it was anorexia/other stuff that caused her death.

Or maybe she was eating enough and what she chose to eat (or not eat, as it were) did not supply her body what it needed to maintain a healthy weight.

All vegans go to hell too. That's going to suck.

Well in truth most of us are part vegan. I love veggies but I love good quality beef & venison just as much! Nothing beats beef tips and gravy poured over a heaping plate of vegan smashed potatoes..... Now I'm hungry!
