The rapper is set to perform Friday at a Fourth of July celebration in Austin, Texas.

Texas is one of the states in the midst of a surge of Covid-19 cases.

"I can't wait to get back to this," he wrote in the caption of a video showing a crowded concert. "The 90s were the best. We didn't have coronavirus, or cell phones, or computers."

Concerts and festivals across the world have been canceled or postponed because of the pandemic.

On Thursday he posted a video of a group of musicians busking.

The Independence Day Throwback Beach Party is set to be held Friday at Emerald Point Bar & Grill, which is categorized as a restaurant.

I had no idea vanilla ice was still putting on shows

He won't have anything to worry about. The crowd size won't be larger than ten.

Rob's 90's were 90 & 91. So with that perspective, he is correct

Donate a percentage of sales to Black Lives Matter and there’s no way Covid will infect these folks.

I knew he still did some shows but Rob has moved past the whole Vanilla Ice thing for the most part. He flips houses, does most of his own work, and does quite well in Palm Springs, FL.

I love how they phrased this as if they just called themselves a restaurant so they could stay open. They completely ignore that it is based on TABC permits which are based on actual percentage of sales. They are “categorized” as a restaurant because the majority of their sales are food and not alcohol. It’s not some willy nilly title they bestowed upon themselves.

We went dancing at a country bar last weekend because 51% of their sales comes from food. Nice little loophole that I’m sure will be closed soon.

Good for him.
He seems like a good guy.
He makes fun of his past. Seems to be comfortable in his own skin.
