One trick I came up with on a 109 I did not long ago was I cut out the decal instruction illustration and used it as a stencil for the pattern. It really didn’t take long, just a steady hand with my X-Acto knife. I also did the same thing on an FW-190 build. Here’s the result of each…

Dude I love that!!!!!

This is the bird. The real one sits in a museum in Everett, Washington. This will give me nightmares

Yeah. That pattern is awesome. But it’s also the stuff of nightmares.

I think though if you create two stencils, one for the green, the other for the gray, it’s doable.

I haven’t broke the seal on it yet, so it could change. But as of now, this is up next.



Mrs. Vader has bunco Thursday night so I’ll probably start it then.

Yes.

I built this one a couple of years ago. FW 189.

Airfix 1/72 scale. Ancient kit. Lots of windows.
