Thanks, Roughneck. This was a very unique and rather challenging pattern to do. While it used the standard combination of Dark Yellow, Green, and Brown commonly used on German vehicles late in the war, these Wehrmacht units in Italy did theirs in a rather complex and different manner than units on other fronts. Here is the vehicle I was building.
Why did they do their camouflage like this? I really have no idea. My best guess is whoever was in command of these units operating in northern Italy after the Italian capitulation wanted th done in this manner.
The way I did this pattern was I airbrushed the green and brown first. Then outlined those colors in random patterns using dark yellow.

Thanks for sharing.
That's an awesome collection for anyone to have put together. Nice use of a room.
ETA
The 2nd pic looks like the bunkbeds Kramer should have had instead of chest-of-drawers.

I love my model room. I go in there, find a good YouTube video (the Unauthorized History of the Pacific War is perfect) and simply unplug from the world for a while. It’s pure Narvana. I think everyone should have something, doesn’t matter what it is, where they can set aside all the stress and worries of life and simply relax.
My favorite is during football season when it’s a cool, rainy Sunday afternoon after church. I can put on a football game, look at the leaves changing while it rains and enjoy building a model.

Yeah. The Italians made some really good fighters and torpedo bombers. They also made some pretty good battleships, though they never put them to good use. But when it came to armor, they were hapless

Wasn't the host of that channel the director/curator of the WWII Museum in New Orleans? Haven't watched it in a while.

Thanks, Spiff. As for method, I did the camo pattern by first airbrushing on random splotches of Dark Green & Flat Brown. I then traced out the “jigsaw” pattern by brushing on Dark Yellow. Weathering was very simple. All I did was an oil wash using Tamiya Panwl Accent Deep Brown. Once that dried, I removed the excess with Testors Enamel Thinner.

Yep. He’s still the host. They’re putting out new weekly episodes right now. They’re currently covering the Philippine Campaign of 41-42.

No ships?
Ships really aren’t my thing. But I’ve done a handful over the years. I think I have one or two ship kits in my stash that I’ll get to eventually.

Man that Dark Yellow does not look brushed! I'd have been masking all day. Legit job, Darth!!!!

Thanks. I very briefly considered trying to mask it, but quickly decided I didn’t want to dedicate the better part of my weekend trying to do it. I just picked a new fine brush and went to town. Still took a while to do, probably the better part of an hour or two.

With so few tanks built, it’s amazing there’s a model kit for it.

Yeah. When I found this kit, I think at a model show, I snatched it up immediately. I love building more obscure subjects.
