Vacation - San Francisco, SLO, Santa Barbara - Recommendations?

Headed to San Fran for 3 days, then driving south to SLO and Santa Barbara.
Already got tickets to Alcatraz and Hearst Castle.
Any recommendations are much appreciated. TIA

On the way to SLO, stop at Monterey Bay Aquarium and then stop later down the road for lunch at Nepenthe restaurant in Big Sur. Incredible view of the Pacific while drinking wine.

Take a day and visit Salsalito and Muir Woods. Take SF Bay cruise under GG Bridge. Go whale watching. Stop at Pebble Beach on way to Santa Barbara

Bike from San Fran to Sausalito then hop on the shuttle to Muir woods.

Don't stay in Monterrey. Stay and visit Carmel. Stay at the Tickle Pink Inn. Views are unbelievable. Eat at Pacific's Edge. 17 mile drive and Aquarium in Monterrey can be done in a day.

Monterey/Big Sur/Carmel/Carmel Valley are a must. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is doing a live PBS special today through Wed. Check it out and see why this area is a must over SLO.
While in SLO, go to Firestone Grill and get the Tri-Tip sandwich. Avila Beach near SLO is pretty nice too.

The view of the bridge/Alcatraz/San Francisco from Golden Gate National Rec Area is great too.
Looks like you are headed up the coast. There should be some beautiful beaches along there. I'm only familiar with Point Reyes (north of SF) but if you cant make it up that far I'm sure there are similar places along the way you are going.
I hear the old Sutro Baths area is a cool place to visit in SF too.

Drive down the PCH to Big Sur early in the morning when the road is yours.

The weather here in SB has been perfect for the past week. I would recommend renting a stand up paddleboard, kayak, or surfboard and getting in the ocean. If you like wine, there is a shite ton of tasting spots in a place called "The Funk Zone" right near the water.
Driving through Big Sur is awesome. You could spend a week in San Francisco and never get bored. Amazing restaurants in SF. SB is great because of the weather and the proximity to a load of nice beaches. The people here are largely boring, though. Lots of hot women with tans, though.

In 1947 my pops lived in the Fairmont (SF Cal.) for almost a month. Some State Senator's estranged wife ended up banging on his door one morning at 2:00 am seeking shelter from the storm, he returned the favor to her cumquat for a couple of days. Room service and poontang for the next couple of days for him. Welcome home, Johnny Soldierboy.
