If I knew which one I’d look on their website for their policies regarding parking passes. I bet they can’t suspend a parking pass because of flags and it isn’t in their book.
I'm sure they have language saying they can suspend a parking pass due to a "violation of the student code of conduct."

Might even depend on how parking is looked at. Not sure it can be defined as a right to drive and park at school. I know when I was in HS we had to pay to park and weren't allowed to do things like blast music.
Not sure anyone was going to become a dropout and cry about their rights in national media if we felt wronged over it.

The constitution allows you to have "frick" plastered across the back of your car. Guess they should allow it at school.

It is Karen Central in here. Sheesh.

can 100% guarantee my high school, Catholic High would not have allowed this, even though we had the American flag everywhere in the school and even said the pledge every day
Not sure when you went to CHS but in the mid 90's there were confederate flags on a lot of student vehicles and no one said shite. Now they werent huge flags, but looking back I'm surprised there wasnt anything said by the admin

Can public schools punish kids for using foul language? That should be protected under the constitution, right?

Shall I explain the difference?

It's Staunton River High School in Moneta. The article in the OP did not include the name for some reason, but it is in other articles.

I never thought there would be a day where a f_g flag is more acceptable than the American flag.
While I don't support our government, no matter who is in office, I still love my country.
Who gets mad about this? This seems like something that is being manufactured to keep people divided. Like with the statues. Statues that been there forever that people who pass by them every day doesn't even notice them, then all of a sudden you have special interest groups and politicians making a huge deal out of it.
In local politics where I am, there was an elected official who went to all of the white councilmen and told them he needed them to vote to remove this confederate statue because the black people will riot if they don't. Long story short, this statue that was in a location that no one could really see it was removed, the white councilmen didn't talk to a single black person who knew anything about people rioting or anyone who made a big deal out of it.
Turns out, it allows politicians to play both sides of the fence. When he talks to black people "oh yeah I made sure that confederate statue got taken down. There was no need for that". When white people ask about it then its "I don't want to remove it, but if I didn't we would have had an all our riot, but don't worry, we will figure something out".
This is what this feels like. Someone wanting to create outrage to get certain reactions for someone's personal gain. No good bastards.

You should maybe read where the school was happy to allow him to fry an American flag on his truck. They actually gave him one for feee

Only if you compare my hypothetical to their actual rule.
quote:
American flags from his truck.
They don't have a rule disallowing American flags on vehicles.
How can schools get away with something like not allowing kids to wear whatever they want when enforcing uniforms?
Apply that answer to the same question about flag sizes on trucks.

That phrase sounds to me like some of that “microaggression” the progressives like to crow about.
Similar to when they call people out for saying stuff like, “I’m not a racist. Some of my best friends are black”

Well their policy states no “large” flags and the kid agreed to it. They should probably put what the acceptable size is.
However, their policy is ridiculous and when charging a student for a spot, they shouldn’t have all these rules. Jews in nazi germany didn’t have this many restrictions.
