I have a package coming that was shipped via Fedex.
For some reason, it's been stuck 80 miles away in Bessemer since the 16th.

I mailed my water bill from my office about a week ago. When I checked the mail at my house Saturday it was in my mailbox. They delivered it to the return address.

We received several Christmas cards today and each of them had been opened. My daughter thinks someone was looking for cash...

I had a stamp on this one. Of course, it was stamped out (cancelled) when it got back to me.

We are OLD and old-fashioned and live near a small rural community. We pay all of our bills by check and the late notices have been getting more frequent even when the checks were mailed promptly. It has come to the point that the slow delivery by USPS is affecting our credit rating.
Something mailed from 25 miles away used to arrive the next day but now with the "improved service" that envelope first travels 52 miles down the road to a town 38 miles away from us, the next improved act is to transfer it by truck114 miles to a sorting hub where it is sent to a distribution center from which it is eventually re-sorted and ultimately routed by multi-stopped truck to our local post office. Travel time? Five to 7 days seems to be the minimum.

I’m waiting on 2 Xmas gifts from different retailers. Both shipped via USPS and both are lost. Tracking updates say “attempted delivery, no access to delivery address. I’m in a residential subdivision no gate.

They need to increase their advertising circular/catalog mailing cost twenty fold. Call it an Unnecessary bullshite tax. The 20 plus realtors, two dozen credit card companies and 376 mail order companies who send my wife catalogs monthly will be forced to quit that shite or pay a proper rental rate for taking up space in my mailbox. The USPS will increase their efficiency twenty fold (and still suck) and I would not throw away 90% of the mail I receive unopened. We all win.

Where I am its usually fit white guys driving the fed ex truck and fat black women driving the mail trucks.

And being able to read numbers is racist, so don't expect to get the right mail.

The post office is not Federal... it's within the Federal system but independent.

Kind of like LSU Football but one makes money and the other one doesn't.

USPS is a joke.

I’ve switched everything possible to online billing/online pay because I can’t trust the USPS to get a check from my mailbox to a town 10 miles away in less than 20 days.

The postmaster a couple towns over got arrested for theft, opening birthday cards to steal cash.

Been a couple of postal employees in the news for stealing Menards rebates lately.

USPS, UPS, and FedEx all suck arse w/customer service as far as I'm concerned. I've shipped plenty w/all of them for work. They all lose shite and it's always a ridiculous game of jumping though hoops to find a person who gives just the tiniest of fricks to help you out.
